I’m excited to introduce Steven Brown, one of our talented actors in the cast of SUMMER OF ’67. Steven and his wife Dorothy have a blended family of 9 children and 14 grandchildren. Like many of our actors, he’s a Navy Veteran. He’s also a musician with a newly released album called MOMENTUM that you’ll want to check out.
I’m often approached by parents of children and teens worried because their children are wanting to break into the entertainment industry. The parents wonder if it’s possible to maintain Christian values while working in a very secular industry. I guide them as best as I can, but now I’m excited to be able to share Jeannie Garcia’s first hand account of the struggles she faced as a professional model and actress and how she ultimately dealt with it.
Most folks spend their retirement years relaxing, traveling, looking for new ways to enjoy life. For Nancy and Billy Goodman, that search led them to new careers as background actors. Since 2012 they’ve worked on multiple movies and shows including Boulevard, Nashville, Still the King, All Saints, and Summer of ’67. As a result, they’ve kept busy, learned new skills, and made many new friends along the way.
Terri Minton is one busy lady. She stumbled into acting twenty years ago and has since accumulated a long list of credits including Summer Snow, A Horse for Summer, Heaven Bound, and Saved by Grace. You can catch her as Beth Nimmo, Rachel Scott’s mom, in I’m Not Ashamed, releasing this weekend to theaters across the country.

David Novak played Tiso for two years on General Hospital among some other roles on Days of Our Lives, Passions and Melrose Place. He co-starred in Supercroc, Ugly Benny and was a starring lead in Dewitt & Maria. He is currently co-starring (pre-production), with Bo Hopkins and Morgan Fairchild, in a sci-fi movie that has spiritual overtones called EVElyn Rising. David Novak, a devoted Christian, has over 25 years of experience in the entertainment business, and I had the distinct pleasure to interview him.
Back when I was in college I worked at a local department store and got to do the in store announcements promoting sale items for the week. I loved it, and ever since have had a fascination with voice over work. I have a great respect for voice over artists, so I was excited to be introduced to Nicole Fazio, who not only is a successful VO herself, but teaches others as well. While you may not recognize her name or face, you’re sure to recognize her voice from her national commercials for cars, beauty products, and more.
Tamara Woods is a Pennsylvania-based stage and film actress. She’s also one of the many volunteers for The Narrow Way Film Festival, and I was hoping to get to meet her last weekend, but our paths didn’t quite cross. Tamara is a fascinating young woman using her artistic gifts wherever God calls her including a US military base in Kuwait.
I’ve known Quinn Alexis for a number of years and have seen firsthand the devotion that she has for theater, film, and the arts. She got her start in children’s theater and has transitioned to film acting. You can catch her in one of the leading roles in Dave Christiano’s upcoming film Remember the Goal.
