Laura Harris Smith got her start in television when she was three-years-old and her parents put her in a commercial.  At forty, as the mother of six kids, she took them to a talent agency, and ended up booking herself a role as a TV host for Shop At Home TV.  Now she’s the host of her own show called TheThree, where she talks with guests who are experts on body, mind, and soul.

Alex Seeley and her husband moved from Australia to Nashville to follow God’s call. They started a church in their basement with seven members. Now six years later The Belonging Co has 10,000 members meeting in a downtown warehouse. I met Shari Rigby at our first NRB convention and have interviewed her each year since. In the beginning, she was an actress talking about her role in October Baby. Now, each year she seems to add on to her roles. She wrote Beautifully Flawed: Finding Your Radiance in the Imperfections of Your Life. Now her focus is on film directing. In our interview she talks about the many projects she’s working on at the moment.

Kim Chaffin – Simply Blessed

I love the name of Kim Chaffin’s blog – Heartfelt Ramblings of a Midlife Domestic Goddess. When you go to her blog, you immediately notice the bright pink background and sweet cartoon artwork. You can tell right away that she’s a woman with a sense of fun. I got to meet her in person at NRB Convention, and that was indeed true. Kim is sweet and bubbly, and immediately treats you like she’s known you forever. Her love of life is contagious.

I have a great admiration for anyone who gets up early in the morning, especially when they make the choice on their own. Erica Willis gets up at 5am every morning to spend an hour in prayer before kicking off her day. Not only that, but she’s created a worldwide prayer movement called theFives, women  who join together at 5am in their time zone to  pray and see God move.
