Hiding Places – Music Review

I love discovering new musical talent, especially anyone with a vintage sound, so I was excited to have the opportunity to review Tori Kelly’s new CD, Hiding Places. Tori Kelly was the 2016 Grammy Award nominee for Best New Artist. She’s an L.A.-based singer/ songwriter who mixes R and B with classic gospel.  She teamed up with Kirk Franklin with a duet as the first single on the album.

I like Tori’s sound, especially the slower songs. She has a very soothing, pleasant voice. The album is a great mix of upbeat and slow tunes, all with an authentic retro sound. I listened to it while working at home, but it would be good for traveling as well.

If you’d like to check out Hiding Places for yourself, I have a free CD to give away to the first person to comment below and share your favorite music genre.
