Laura Harris Smith got her start in television when she was three-years-old and her parents put her in a commercial.  At forty, as the mother of six kids, she took them to a talent agency, and ended up booking herself a role as a TV host for Shop At Home TV.  Now she’s the host of her own show called TheThree, where she talks with guests who are experts on body, mind, and soul.

In our NRB Convention interview Laura and I talked about TheThree and her new book, The Healthy Living Handbook.

I love the way The Healthy Living Handbook is organized. It’s broken down into three sections – body, mind, and spirit – and each section includes top 10 healthy living habits. I’ve started reading the first section for the spirit and look forward to working my way through the other sections. Each chapter includes scripture, stats, or other research combined with hands on practical advice to put into practice.

I'm a female filmmaker, blogger, and speaker with over a decade of industry experience. I'm passionate about visual storytelling. I know firsthand that you don't have to spend a fortune to make a good movie, and you can tell a powerful story without ever saying a word. My desire with Faith Flix is to educate, inspire, and encourage my fellow filmmakers. I know that Christian filmmakers can make better movies, but it takes education and hard work. I'll help with the education and leave you to do the hard work.
