I remember the first time I watched Butterfly Circus with Nick Vujicic in the leading role. I was fascinated, trying to figure out they just happened to have a script for a limbless man and was able to find an actor that fit the role. Little did I know until years later that Nick was already a personality, and they wrote the script hoping he could do it. I’m so glad it worked out. I can’t imagine the film with anyone else in that role.

For those of you like me who are fans of Nick Vujicic, you’re going to want to read his new book Be the Hands and Feet: Living Out God’s love for All His Children. First, what an amazing title! If that doesn’t grab you, what will?

For those of you who aren’t familiar with him, Nick was born without arms or legs, but he was raised by loving parents who encouraged him to dream big. Nick is now a full-time evangelist who literally travels the world speaking to thousands, sharing the gospel, and letting them know that they are loved.

Be the Hands and Feet is part how-to, part memoir. His personal stories, some of them never shared before, are intermingled with practical advice on how to share the love of Jesus with a hurting world. It will inspire you and encourage you to truly be the hands and feet for Jesus.

I'm a female filmmaker, blogger, and speaker with over a decade of industry experience. I'm passionate about visual storytelling. I know firsthand that you don't have to spend a fortune to make a good movie, and you can tell a powerful story without ever saying a word. My desire with Faith Flix is to educate, inspire, and encourage my fellow filmmakers. I know that Christian filmmakers can make better movies, but it takes education and hard work. I'll help with the education and leave you to do the hard work.
