As part of the new and improved Faith Flix, I’m adding a new component – a private Facebook group specifically for filmmakers, a place where you can go to ask questions and get answers, to learn and to grow.

Now, granted, there are plenty of groups already around, but I’ve found that the majority of them are nothing more than dumping grounds where everyone shares promotional posts about their latest projects, but no one really interacts with each other. I don’t know about you, but I want something more. I want an intimate place to come to where we can talk shop. Where filmmakers can ask for advice on which camera to buy, or where they can post photos of a location and ask for input on the best way to light the set. I want somewhere that filmmakers can inquire about distributors and insurance and all the many issues that we deal with each time we make a movie. I want us to be able to come together and actually help each other so we don’t have to keep reinventing the wheel.

If this is something you’re interested in, then please come pull up a chair and join us for some in-depth industry discussion. Welcome!

I'm a female filmmaker, blogger, and speaker with over a decade of industry experience. I'm passionate about visual storytelling. I know firsthand that you don't have to spend a fortune to make a good movie, and you can tell a powerful story without ever saying a word. My desire with Faith Flix is to educate, inspire, and encourage my fellow filmmakers. I know that Christian filmmakers can make better movies, but it takes education and hard work. I'll help with the education and leave you to do the hard work.
