None Like Him – Book Review

I love the subtitle of this book – “10 WAYS GOD IS DIFFERENT FROM US (and why that’s a good thing). What an intriguing concept!  And the book follows up on the promise. Author Jen Wilkin explains how frustrating it can be when we try to become something God never intended us to be and how freeing it can be to accept and even embrace our humanity. When we quit trying to be God, we’re better able to be who He designed us to be. It’s also exciting to realize that while we are all limited in our abilities, God is infinitely unlimited.

If you’re looking for a book or Bible study on the character of God, this is a great choice. Each chapter concludes with verses for meditation, questions for reflection, and a sample prayer.

  1. This year on the front of the T-shirts sold at my sons Christian drama school it says “I have never met anyone like Him” — The title of this book sounds like it comes right from the same thought – – – and that’s why I would like to win a copy.
