The first time I met Jenn Gotzon, I knew there was something special about her. I attended a workshop that she led at an arts conference. There were maybe eight to ten of us in the workshop, and she began by asking each of us our name and a little bit about us. She then proceeded to incorporate our names and what she’d learned about us in her teaching. She managed to teach and inspire each one of us in a very personal way.

I later got to spend more time with her when she stayed with us while filming her part for The Good Book movie. She arrived the day before filming and a few of us went to the local county fair. Jenn had a wonderful time with the tractor pull and fun rides, but what impressed me was the way she noticed all the fair workers and involved them in conversation. Jenn is without a doubt the most caring person I’ve ever met. She truly a light in the darkness with a heart for changing lives.

While she was in town filming, Jenn taught a workshop for our actors. The unanimous response  among the over one hundred actors was that it was the most helpful workshop they had ever attended. She managed to pack an incredible amount of information in a short time and inspire each of the actors to set higher goals and aspire to those goals.

Now actors in the Los Angeles area are being given the chance to study with Jenn and I would encourage anyone who can possibly attend to do so.  Be ready for a life changing experience!

I'm a female filmmaker, blogger, and speaker with over a decade of industry experience. I'm passionate about visual storytelling. I know firsthand that you don't have to spend a fortune to make a good movie, and you can tell a powerful story without ever saying a word. My desire with Faith Flix is to educate, inspire, and encourage my fellow filmmakers. I know that Christian filmmakers can make better movies, but it takes education and hard work. I'll help with the education and leave you to do the hard work.
